Terrible Purchase!
Yuk, Yuk, Yuk! Terrrible, wish we had listened to the guys at the shop. We just assumed they were talking rubbish when they tired to sell us a more expensive model but they were correct. Awful build quality and very little heat output even with kiln dried wood. Bad advice given as well - online retailer lead us to believe we didn't need to line our chimney and that it was an easy DIY job to fit it ourselves. We didn't really know the rules so we fitted it ourselves - big mistake when the building inspector came around to inspect our extension only to mention we needed a certificate. Now we can't get one as no one will touch it with a barge poll! Anyway, steer clear!
Stove expert says: at least in England, in most local authorities, you can have a 'Competent Person' do the install (APHC, HETAS, NAPIT, etc installer), or you can do the installation under building control: an either or situation.

Aurora Stove - a life saver
I'm not sure what you other guys are saying about how bad these stoves are. I bought this stove and I am very happy with it. I found this stove to be amazing for its price. The build is a little rough, but I like the style...it's what it makes it Country...and it has so much cast iron! Very heavy stove for its size. I burn wood and coal and get it to burn overnight without any problems. I control the fire easily with the primary and secondry controls and with a damper installed in the flue. Airwash works fine unless you burn the wood touching the stove glass. (tip: in order to keep the glass as clean as possible from soot, the wood logs should be placed in such a manner that the cut surface is not facing to the glass) Now I manage to heat my open space at home and finally get to stay in wearing just a t-shirt and pants in winter. (and I live by the sea!).
