Review of Coalbrookdale Severn stove

Coalbrookdale Severn

Peter White 10 years ago

I inherited this stove when we moved, twenty two years ago, it may now be about twenty five years old. It now acts as a room heater as the central heating has been disconnected. It heats our large living room very well and even keeps the rest of the house warm if the door is left open.

The only problem I have is controlling the burn when too hot, the dampers at the bottom are fixed and the knob on the side has little effect.

To summarize an excellent stove and one I would not want to be without.
