Review of Clearview vision insert stove

Grate expectations fulfilled

So we did it the hard way, installed it ourselves and building control passed it for use. This is a very well built and heavy construction stove. Once going, very easy to light, getting it up to temperature takes about 20 minutes. After that, it can burn in a very controlled manner and efficiently too. A 17x12 lounge up to 27C and freezing outside is not difficult to achieve!

As an inset, it relies on the convection box which works ok but if you can accommodate a freestanding stove it will provide more heat into the room. For us this stove works so well that a higher output stove could be embarassing.

This is an expensive stove but given the choice again I would still consider a Clearview stove.
