Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

Reliable, effective stove

Joe P 9 years ago

Had the pioneer for a year in a rented cottage and loved it. Extremely adjustable with the two air controls, easy to light, heated up fast, stayed in overnight and kicked out a huge amount of heat for a small stove. People say it's expensive etc but when you look at similar spec stoves on the market it's no more than you pay for many. Only downside for us was that the glass did blacken and although airwash did a reasonable job it never completely cleared it. That said, it only took a quick wipe to clean up again.
