Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

Clearview Pioneer 400

I purchased this stove in October 2014 and have been using it regularly as a secondary heat source. The build quality is excellent, well designed, very easy to use, easy to light and draws really well. I took some real deliberation over which stove to purchase as there are so many on the market even to the point of contacting Clearview direct, who were very helpful. The key to picking the correct stove is understanding the amount of kW you need to heat your room/house. It is more expensive than its competitors but I think in life you get what you pay for and its a very good burner. There is only one issue with mine, the handle won't stay fixed to fixing which is annoying but it wouldn't stop me getting another one. The only real practice aspect is understanding that wood costs money to buy and it pays for itself if the wood is free I.e. Foraged,.
