Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

Best small stove on the market

Peter Jones 9 years ago

I fitted one of these stoves earlier on in the year after having been so impressed with two others I'd seen at friends houses.

It is a beautifully engineered stove which is so easy to light, less than a minute for a roaring blaze.

It is as controllable as a gas fire, and being steel construction heats up very quickly.

Massive heat output for the size, yet amazingly economical with the logs. If the burn is kept at a reasonable level, the glass hardly needs cleaning the following morning.

Like all wood burners if it's turned right down for any length of time the glass will get really dirty.

So easy to use, and great looking too!

You get what you pay for, it's not cheap, but for such an important purchase why cut corners.
