Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

LOVELY STOVE

Tracey Platt 10 years ago

We had this stove installed about 2 months ago at the other end of our cottage sitting room (the other end has a Morso Squirrel). It is so easy to light and chucks out so much heat (double the amount of the Morso). The Morso is now redundant really, unless we experience an ice age. The only drawback is having to use quite small logs. If you put large ones in, it struggles to get going properly. Also, the brass handle gets hot, so you have to use gloves to open the door, which is a bit inconvenient. On the whole, I would definitely recommend having the Pioneer 400 installed.
