Review of Churchill 6 stove

Mendip Churchill 6

Never having had a stove before I did not know what to expect, and was rather worried as to how I would cope.

I need not have worried. We had a fantastic fitter who explained all the details of the vents and lighting the stove, what wood to use etc.

This stove looks fantastic, very sleek and quite a feature.

It is easy to light, we use firelighters, small bits of wood, and once caught, logs.

The air vents are easy to control, making the fire burn higher or lower.

We have not used it overnight yet, the weather has not been cold enough.

I did not realize that the glass would need cleaning every morning but I can keep this down a bit by keeping the top air vent open more.

I would recommend this stove for anyone, we have it to be brilliant and we are looking forward to being warm this winter.
