Review of Burley Hollywell 9105 stove

Burley Hollywell

We organised for our Hollywell 9105 to be fitted just in time for Christmas 2013. The difference felt in our poorly insulated early 30's house was immediate so much so that we're now about to fit a 8kw Brampton in another room with the intention of turning off more radiators. If it were down to looks alone I would have bought another make but I've come to appreciate it's simple box like looks. The amount of heat generated is, like Irn Bru, phenomenal.

Build quality is excellent. The only problem we encountered as that the handle operating the air vent had a mind of it's own. The person that fitted the stove sorted this out with an extra washer. Both wooden handles have been fine so far.

We're going to give the sealing kit a try on the second stove as space was at a premium when fitting the Hollywell.

Overall great stove.
