Review of Burley Debdale 9104

I needed to fit a log burner into my open plan lounge in 1940's semi. The fire opening was small so choice was limited. I have owned and used very many wood burners but was impressed by the reviews and company details of Burley stoves.

Its now been in use for a month and its a truly fantastic stove, burns so little wood and churns out a huge amount of heat.

Like all stoves you need to get used to it, in this case best to light with larger amount of small kindling and leave door ajar till well lit and then add smaller size logs/wood. Mine is thriving on a mix of small dried logs and pallet wood. It produces a minimal amount of ash and is so frugal in the amount of fuel it burns. The stove welcome pack is a great touch, moisture meter, glove, chestnut/kettle plate and ash removing tool.

As previously mentioned handle attachment system needs a rethink and you will need to tighten with tools which are provided but it is v easy.

Came complete with QC card however we did get a cup full of blasting shot out of it pre instillation so clearly not completely emptied before it came off the production line.

I managed to get a very good price on supply only from a main agent.

Overall brilliant buy and if you need a small stove that is super efficient then this has to be the one.
