Review of Aga Ludlow stove

Great stove!!

Couldn't be happier with this stove and am so glad we paid a little extra for it than other cheaper models.

The main point I have to make is 'use the correct fuels' ie properly seasoned wood, and/or quality coal and you won't go wrong. If you use substandard fuel then yes it will get a bit dirty and cooler.

Our stove heats a large downstairs room and also allows us to dry clothes on a ceiling airer above.

My inlaws have a cheaper model of a different brand and struggle lighting it, and we all have to huddle around it for heat. Please choose a reputable brand and go for quality, and I'm sure that you wont be disappointed.

The fact Aga put a 5 year warranty on it says something.

I waited 10 weeks before writing this review so that I would have a fairer understanding of the stove, and to be honest I'm as happy with it today as when I brought it.

Stove expert replied: Drying washing around a stove is tempting but be mindful that the moisture will have to go somewhere and can cause mold and consenation. Stove seems to be working well and as will all models the fuel is key to what heat you can chieve.
