Review of Aga Ellesmere 4 stove

Superb Stove

This is my third wood burning stove that I have owned and I have to say this is certainly my favourite.

I was a little undecided when I purchased the stove whether to go for a cast iron or a steel model.

Having owned the stove for a few months I have no regrets on choosing a steel stove as it heats up very quickly and is the most controllable stove I have owned. The firebox is large for a 4kw stove which is a bonus and it certainly throws out plenty of heat. The stove is very solidly built and looks great. I do like to be able to see the fire so the addition of a large glass door is a nice feature. Lighting the fire is quick and simple. The Aga Ellesmere is good looking stove that performs beautifully.
