Review of Aarrow Acorn 4 Stove

Aarrow Acorn 4/5 stove

I bought this to heat my garden shed, sized 12 x 8 feet. Be aware that flue etc can cost almost as much as the stove! (But that goes for most stoves I guess).\n\nAssembly and setup were pretty straightforward.\n\nUsually lights easily, but in certain weather conditions it can take a couple of goes. I find that keeping the door ajar makes it easier to get going. When it's roaring away it's fine, but once it dies down it needs a bit of looking after so that it doesn't go completely out.\n\nIt easily provides more than enough heat for the shed, even in the coldest part of winter. (Though I did insulate the shed as well).\n\n

Stove expert replied: Lighting when the flue is cold can be a problem on all stoves, leaving the door ajar is a good idea to get extra lift of flue gases until flue warmed.
